When Y/N (or if you play animal crossing, your username) moves to town, their first thought wouldn't be that they would become the mayor. When they do hear this, they initially are very excited! But when something bad happens while taking the role as the mayor, things take a turn for the worst.

And of course, I do not own Animal Crossing. This story is for entertainment purposes only. Also I am very sorry if there is a story out there similar or very close to what I made. This is just a random idea I thought of, and I didn't see yours.
