Bridgette Baker, a 15-year-old soccer star, is forced to face life-threatening decisions as a record-breaking solar flare threatens armageddon over Earth. With no electricity, no means of communication, and crime at an all-time high in her hometown, Bridgette leads 7 young children, 3 other teenagers, and a frenzical pregnant woman on a trek through the wild to find a place of sanctuary.
