The year is 2016 and a new virus has spread over the country. It is causing people to die at rapid rates. The symptoms are horrifying. Internal bleeding, vomiting and paranoia. Sixteen year old Cassie has lost her family, and participated in the annual Study, a test with different obstacles to find who is eligible to find the one cure that can save the world. Cassie and Seamus, a boy who also lost his loved ones are chosen out of thousands and must embark on a very dangerous mission around the most infected parts of the world. Will they make it?
