People have been constantly disappearing behind the dimensional door to Castle Bleck. First Mimi, followed by Nastasia, then Timpani, and many more. One night when Mario, Luigi, Mr.L, Bowser, and Peach are staying at Flipside, Peach wanders to Flopside muttering that something is calling her. Mario follows Peach through the door to Castle Bleck. Mario witnesses an unspeakable horror and is taken hostage. He narrowly escapes and returns to Flipside, telling everyone that he witnessed Peach having the life sucked out of her! Mr.L steps up to help rescue everyone, especially once he finds out that Dimentio has disappeared as well.
(This is basically a really stretched parody of Dracula, so, bare with me here. Contains BLOOD/VIOLENCE/DEATH. SPM belongs to Nintendo)

(This story takes place directly after the Ultimate Show and towards the end of Era 2 of Steven Universe.) Super Dimentio is defeated, Blumiere and Timpani disappeared, the Chaos Heart is gone. Everything is good now, right? Wrong. Mario and Luigi go back to Castle Bleck to search for any signs of the villain Dimentio returning. In Their Darkness: A Super Paper Mario Story Collection
Tensions are high, and all throughout the universes, everyone is feeling the effects of Count Bleck's plans to fulfill the Dark Prognostics and destroy every Universe. No one is exempt from this. Our heroes aren't, of course, as they try and stop Count Bleck's plans, but not even Bleck's minions who work against them are safe from their own thoughts during these dark times. This is a collection of these thoughts; their worries, scheming, and challenges, all presented from their own point of view in their own stories. I (obviously) do not own any characters in this story, and do not claim to. This story does not intend to present itself as canon, and although it aligns with the main story of Super Paper Mario, some smaller details might have been changed for the sake of story telling. Based off the Super Mario games, Disney's "The Haunted Mansion" and other resources. Ludwig von Koopa is not your average koopaling, but he's got it all. Very high IQ, loving family (even though they drive him crazy) of one father and seven younger siblings, his most advanced magic skills that no one could ever have, his musical talent and not to mention he'll be king very soon. Not yet, but soon. Two things are for certain though; the eldest 18 year old koopa prince is no longer a koopaling and he's had a normal life so far. That is until his last evening as a "mortal". One night Ludwig gets attacked by what looks to be a centuries old vampire koopa troopa and things have turned upside down. If no longer being out in the sun is bad enough; Ludwig has a much stronger thirst for blood and it threatens to turn both the Mushroom Kingdom and the Darklands into a haven for the undead. Even worse; an empire is out to capture him and do research on him. Whatever research that empire tends to learn about from Ludwig; it can't be good. His twin children, Dave and Luna, his only remnants of Mr.L. Dimentio knew that he spent the first ten years of his life in an orphanage, but then he started wondering... why?
