Catherine "Kate" Seely knows three things about herself with certainty: she loves Pride and Prejudice, she is obsessed with shoes (not just any shoes - deeply discounted designer stilettos) and she has horrible taste in men.
These things have made her realize that the type of men she and her friends tend to date resemble the shoes they each wear. They were the following: The Collinses - the Bingleys, the Wickhams and the Darcys.
Kate has been trying to move on from her recent break-up with her own Mr Darcy, Jackson Barnes, who has turned out really to be Mr Wickham in disguise. Thinking she has finally moved on, she faces him realizing she is not over him.
With the help of her four friends, Kate is searching for her true Darcys in London and discovers that the perfect pair may not always be the obvious fit.
