Pokemon City is made up of Four Districts: The Stream District, the Lava District, the Forest District, and the Heart of the City where everyone is welcome! Electra and her best friend Rio fell in love at a young age, and now that they're dating, she is happier than ever. What could possibly go wrong?

After her parents were killed in an accident, Electra's life turns upside down. She and her brother are evicted from their apartment and forced to live with their Uncle Diggersby, who does not like teens. This, and many other changes cause a rift in her relationship with Rio. Will their love survive? Or fall apart?

Serenity the Primarina is madly in love with Blade the Incineroar, but her parents do not approve of her dating a fire type? What will she tell him? Meanwhile a Serperior is living with her family as she desperately tries to forge a bond with her new stepsister.

The story is set two years after our protagonists ran away from the crumbling building. Borderline depressed, empty, and disconnected, Valen ceased all forms of battling due to a newfound fear for violence and took up a corporate job. Unfortunately, that was not all she stood to lose as a mysterious power affected the Pokemon Centres and Pokeballs to enforce permadeaths. It is as it was foretold: the curtains will not close until a hero is no more. A bit of a warning, it's meant to be a rather absurd, edgy story of how bad things just happen, people are just doing whatever, and how people are pushed to be "saviours", but some may also find it sort of depressing. I've been told that I describe my thoughts in an uncomfortably visceral way which I never realised. So, if you feel sick, please stop reading right away. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Pokemon appearing in the story nor the items (Pokeball, Potions, gym badges, etc.) or moveset and some location (Sunnyshore City) as they belong to Gamefreak and Nintendo. Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem. Evita isn't ready to leave.
