Marlene looked down at her feet, digging the tip of her right foot into the soft soil of the Hogwarts Quidditch pitch. She gave a soft sigh, looking up again at Sirius, who was now watching her, holding out his hand to her from his position on the broomstick. Marlene scrunched her face up slightly, taking a deep breath. "You know I,, I usually hate flying-" Sirius gave a small nod in response to that, frowning a little. Marlene grabbed his hand, giving a squeal as he pulled her onto the broom behind him. "As someone very stubborn once told me, what's life without a little risk?" Sirius grinned sheepishly at Marlene, giving another chuckle. "You calling me stubborn, McKinnon?" Marlene rolled her eyes jokingly, biting back a laugh. "Of course not, Black-" In which a girl sorted into the house of lions discovers her inner bravery.
