Prince Patton, soon to be crowned king in a few months, has decided to open up Auradon Prep to more than just children of princesses and princes. He had chosen 3, much to Roman's - his adopted brother - displeasure, villain kids to attend the school and be better than their parents. He had also chosen two kids of known heroes to go, maybe it was to ease Roman, or maybe it was to recognize the children of non-royal heroes.

When they meet their separate fates are tied as one, which can either be good or bad.

Okay, this is my first actual fully-fledged story so please give me critiques if I need it. This is based off of a tumblr Descendants AU, but I don't know the artist. I did change it a bit and added some characters, so yeah, enjoy! And yes, I know the cover is Unus Annus and has nothing to do with Sanders Sides, I couldn't figure out what I should do to make one, so that's it.

His only real friend is his Royal Assistant Logan Crofters. Lord Virgil Anxiety of the Dark Forest is the ruler and protector of the dark forest. He's known more as a legend/myth to everyone outside the dark forest, or as a evil, vious ruler. But to the creatures in the forest, he's a kind, lonely protector that just needs a little love. His only friend is a village boy that visits him named Patton Morre. *Completed* Virgil has never had it easy, not since he was kicked out of his home by his own father. He's struggled to survive, and has fought for food. He sees what should have been an easy meal, some berries on a tree hanging over the river. It should have been easy to get it, of course the stupid branch had to break and he was sent plummeting into the river. Roman loves to sneak away from his colony and his fae duties to head to the river, he's always wondered what is on the other side of it. Of course, he and everyone else in his colony is banned from crossing it. One day though, a stranger with no wings and a tail washes up on the river bank. When he takes him back to the colony, he's put in charge of taking care of him. Thomas has inherited his home from family, it's in the middle of nowhere in a forest. It was nice, and not too far from his home is a nice river he can explore. Of course it can't be so simple though, since Thomas is in debt and could very well lose the home. Not wanting to lose a home that had been in his family for so long, he struggles to find some way to pay it off. Those kids would not only get to leave the isle to attend but also get the chance to make a proper and good name for themselves apart from their parents. Of course, there are those against it such as Prince Roman who despite Patton's attempts to get to understand, is horrified about it. Even going so far as to try and pull his twin Remus from helping. Remus does anyway alongside their friend Remy who's only there for the drama. Roman was unsuccessful in stopping the raffle and now all thats left is to see who wins. What three kids will get the chance to leave the isle and what will they do with their new found freedom?
