After being moved from state to state by her relationship-inept mother, seventeen year old Emma Jones finds herself in, yet another, new place. With poor examples of love and commitment, Emma meets Elijah Raines, a local, bad-ass drummer, who wants nothing more than to leave his deadbeat hometown. Will they get their happily ever after or will unforeseen circumstances get in the way? ~~~ He looked absolutely edible. His shirt hugged every muscle and ripple of skin. His jeans hung loosely on his hips and his short hair looked mussed. The stubble on his chin was faint, but gave him an added boost of sophistication. His eyes found mine again and he smiled. "Who would've thought you'd let those legs out to play again." His smile grew wider. "You're putting all these ladies to shame." My cheeks felt hot and I couldn't breathe. My lips parted, but no words came out. He took my silence as submission and stepped even closer. Leah untangled her arm from mine and stepped away from us. He leaned in and whispered in my ear, "Although I'm loving the way you look in this outfit. I'm imagining what you'd look like with just those boots on." I recoiled a step and gasped. "Jesus Christ, Eli. Are you always this forward?" He smirked and leaned in to give me a chaste kiss on my cheek. His lips were soft and tender. He whispered once more, "I'm just a man who knows what he wants, Emma." He pulled away and my cheeks were inflamed. It physically stung where his lips had been. He managed to set every nerve in my body on fire with a simple, juvenile touch. A rapid burning need was already forming in my abdomen and I was practically swimming in a puddle of arousal. Our eyes held each other's and I knew he could see the internal battle happening inside me. His pupils dilated and glazed over with lust. The room felt empty at that moment. In our own space, it was just us. I bit down hard on my lip unable to look away from his ocean blue eyes. #1 irresistible 12/19/2021

Anneliese

Anneliese is an empathetic, goofy, outgoing young woman who has struggled finding a place to discover herself. Often looking for new ways to meet friends, she wouldn't pass the opportunity to chat someone up. Even a stranger at the diner she works at to pass time and support herself. A dedicated man takes to the nativity of Anneliese. He's direct and prefers to keep to himself. Even an isolated man by choice can't withstand Anneliese's pull. Gravitating towards her, he manages to bring her a sense of comfort to the new beginnings in life. Not all beginnings are as true as they let off. ~ ❀ ~ I can't help but stare at her. Her face, lips, and smile, and her nose. Even her long, curled lashes. "Let's do a butterfly kiss!" She exclaims, pulling my face close suddenly. Kiss? My heart hammers in my chest, my breath hitching. Her small hands hold my face close to hers. It's not very forceful, I could pull away if I wanted to, but I let her have control. Her hands are warm and soft against my jaw. Getting closer, her eyes lashes flutter and I find myself holding my breath. She brushes her lashes to mine, her breath fanning against my lips. Subconsciously, I lean forward, wanting my lips to be on hers. June flutter her lashes, grazing her lashes to mine. Out of nowhere she bursts out in a fit of laughter. I flinch back. Butterfly kiss. That was not a fucking kiss. ~ ❀ ~ #1 cliche 2025 #1 sweatheart 2025 #1 opposites 2026 *Warning* Mature themes will be covered (language, actions, etc).
