Jade and her brother Sage De Luca Marino, have been living on their own since Sage was 19 and Jade 14. Their parents tragically passed away in a car accident and Sage has had to look after himself and his sister ever since trying to live as much of a normal life as they can. Making sure both their grades don't slip, they always have food on the table, bills get paid, they both stay out of trouble and more importantly keep Jade safe and sound at all times. Although he has been doing a pretty good job at that, there was one night Jade snuck out of the house to go to a house party, little did she know it would change her life. She found herself falling for a rebel she met at said party and began spending more and more time with him, behind Sage's back. As they spent more and more time together, Sage slowly began to have suspicions and Jade's rebel boy began revealing some dark truths not only about himself, but mistakingly from her brother as well. This causes conflict between her and her brother, her friends, and also for her own self. The question is, will she adapt to the situation or will she take matters into her own hands?
