The Pursuit of Happiness

Love. The most daunting four letter word in the English language. Yet somehow, I, the most ordinary of people, got to feel a true love.

I'm not the most sappy of individuals, okay well maybe I am, but my therapist calls it chasing what I missed out on in my childhood. It's not that much to talk on really, the same old story; dad was an addict and locked up most of my life and my mom didn't decide she liked me till I was older....

Anyways, back to what I was saying, love.

I always hated the thought of love, it was only temporary, they'd get you to fall head first and maybe (if you're lucky) they'll catch you, and love you just the same. I haven't been one of the lucky ones so far. That is, Until I met him.
