None of us were ready for 2020 and the sacrifices we'd make because the world wasn't safe. None of us were ready to bare the injustices of this world. None of us had a choice of losing loved one's and isolating from society. None of us thought that we'd have to were a mask that hides the painful truths of reality. But... none of us were alone. This poem is a representation of what it was like to live in 2020. Hopefully you will be able to resonate with this poem because many of us (myself included) struggled to overcome many of the obstacles 2020 had in store for us. Hopefully this will remain nothing but a memory and manoeuvre our way out of this mess. Stay safe and have a great day!

A Year In Poetry

200 parts Complete Mature

Happy 2020! I will be putting one whole year of poems in this book. We'll all see what happens! A lot of the poetry I write is to help me understand the world around me. One day it might be a love poem, the next it might be about chicken nuggets.
