What would you do if you were unstoppable, but ultimately weak?
Dominic Monroe, better known to the world as notorious supervillain and criminal mastermind Bloodshed, is no stranger to weakness. In fact, had he not been seeked out by the Degenerates, a popular group of supervillains, he would have been a nobody, cast aside and forgotten amongst the supernaturals running rampant in the city. But they had seen something in him that he never could, and had made him into the person he was today.
A cold-blooded killer with the power to destroy the world and anyone living in it. A monster with no bounds. A menace with no remorse.
At least, that's what the world saw. After all, the world only ever saw what the Degenerates wanted them to see. Society was wrapped around the finger of a group of mindless murderers, and yet they were too blind to see it.
Although Dominic is portrayed as a strong and undefeated champion amongst the supernaturals, he is aware that his image is only a half lie. He is not strong. He is weak. Sure, he's undefeated, but only because of one cowardly reason.
   He was cursed with immortality.
Dominic knows he cannot hold his identity as the world's greatest supervillain for long, even with the Degenerates on his side. It'll only be a matter of time before his bluff is called and the supervillains are no longer deemed as a threat but something that can be easily terminated. Will Dominic be able to keep up his front long enough for the people he loves to fight back, or will it be too late? Find out in this enchanting, action-packed story that will leave you turning the pages for more.

I didn't mean to fall in love with my brother's best friend. Kingsley Pierce has been my enemy since he befriended my twin brother in first grade. Who constantly tugged my pigtails at nap time in second grade? Kingsley. Who was to blame in fifth grade when an entire bottle of glitter glue just happened to pour onto my head? Kingsley. What about ninth grade (the first go around) when a full tray of beans appeared onto my seat just as I was sitting down? You guessed it: Kingsley Freaking Pierce. The man in question and I have been at each other's throats since we both realized only one of us could be my brother's favorite, and I have been determined to win. That is, until I started fighting a bigger fight. Four years ago, the government announced the presence of Enhanced individuals. People across the country started gaining what can only be described as super powers. There are the Generics (like my brother and me) who have heightened senses, strength, flying - basic stuff really. Then, there are the Advanced. The Advanced have unique and powerful abilities - like being able to control spiders or the elements. My brother refuses to acknowledge his powers, instead insisting he can live a normal life. I, on the other hand, partnered with the government to rise up as Tri-City's hero when the last one disappeared only two years ago. Despite being all by myself, I've put away more Advanced supers than I want to count - never losing a fight. My undefeated streak comes to a screeching halt when a new super appears out of nowhere. Crimson Current. He is wreaking havoc on the city with powers I've never seen - powers I can't compete with. So, why am I so twisted up about Kingsley Pierce when I have a hell of a lot more to deal with? I honestly have no idea. But can I just say, I am shocked.

THIS BOOK IS COMPLETED but it will be HEAVILY EDITED and have things added to it in the future. I wrote this book when I was much younger. I didn't expect it to reach this amount of popularity so I will devote my time to bettering it in the future. ------------------ Every year, in our village and the neighbouring villages, we encounter, on what is suppose to be the most divine and celebrated day of the year, a visit from the 'big bad wolf'. At least that's what the children call him. Adults like to call him "inhuman" or a "wild ravenous monster". However, the majority settle for "beast". No one knows why he ruins this specific day for us, the day we can celebrate our species: werewolves. Some despise him for taking this day from us and forcefully exchanging our merry and joyful laughs to screams of fear. When that specific day of the year approaches us, none of us are ever prepared for it. He always comes at night. We are told to lock our windows, draw our curtains and our doors. We are told to hide. There's one main rule that we have: don't look at him. Because if you do, no one knows what'll happen to you. Maybe that's the worse part, not knowing your fate. Not knowing the outcome of your foolish actions. If he comes roaming your streets, you have a right to be scared. Us "maidens" are always encouraged to hide ourselves the most, it's women that he supposedly wants more. However, I believe that that is a cautionary excuse. He'll take you, no matter how old or how young, no matter how innocent or how corrupt, no matter your gender, all it takes is a look. Either he looks at you, or you look at him, or you both exchange looks. Either way, his senses will pick you up, and you can't hide. It'll be too late. The amazing cover is by @-blackrogue. I, Mick Chadwick, regret to inform my readers that this memoir contains nothing but the truth, which in the case of Tobias MacClain, most ridiculed as Pajama Boy, is far from pleasant. If you seek to relate to a hero more than to aspire to them and have the stomach for unpleasant things such as a hero left for dead, villainous scars, bomb threats, and murderous intent, then look no further. All of these gruesome things and more await from my research, and though I do not wish them on any man or woman, I cannot bear this burden on my own much longer. In the words of Tobias MacClain himself, "Sometimes, a villainous act can cause the greatest good." I hope that all my villainous acts of sneaking, blackmailing, diary-reading, and grave-digging, among others, will be redeemed as I present this complete and truthful memoir to the world, and with any luck, open eyes to the truth of what we call "villainy". Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder ********* MATURE FILTER IS FOR: - violence - graphic imagery (blood, burns, fairly dark headspaces) - cartoon depiction of burn scars for visual aid Despite graphics, Mick Chadwick's writing keeps Mr. MacClain's terrible tale light somehow. This is foremostly a comedy. **** Also going up on Quotev and RoyalRoad 2021 ****
