Adrien Agreste is once again alone on the anniversary of his mother's disappearance. Being by himself allows him to mourn alone instead of keeping his usual front. Not just for his mother, but for his family, as well as himself. Adrien mourns of his new life without his mother and how much he hates living it. Unlike usually, He thinks more about himself rather than everyone else only to realize his harsh feelings of how he really feels about his parents. The guilt overcomes him, after internalizing how bad they are. After some time, his father: Gabriel enters his room to tell him a secret. The secret of why he has been emotionally and physically distant from his family for so long. Adrien is now aware of the secret of his father and mother's second life and has to come to terms with who is really a good guy or a bad guy in his life. Everything he has ever known is flipped upside down and he doesn't know how to deal with this, which leads to a deteriorating mental status.But how he deals with the news slowly turns him agaisnt everyone he loves as he now is on the quest to get his mother, and his happy self, back to life and no one will get in his way. Not even his own father. Even if he has to become a bad guy. Even if he has to hurt the girl he loves, And even if he has to mentally scar himself for the sake of his mother. For the sake of his old self.

After losing a person all so dear to him, he vowed to never let himself get attached to anyone ever again. With a father too busy to even give him the attention he needed after his mother's death. He knew all too well that a "family" was what he didn't have and what he didn't need anymore. "The only thing that man needs in this life is power" or at least that was what Adrien always told himself. Love and attachment never went hand in hand with him. He keeps those he deems fit to stay by side and those that don't, oh well that's a story that you'll have to find out. But what happens when he falls in love with a girl who's past he did not know about. What happens when he is willing to do anything for her love but knows nothing about what he was getting himself into. Signing a deal with the devil was what he was doing and this was deal that executed from the start. Her sweet innocent looks. Her faulted lies that seemed truthful. The way she made him feel was a dangerous game that he fall right into.

Adrien had gotten into one of the biggest arguments he had ever had with his father, leading him to run from his home as his alter ego, Chat Noir. They had grown apart since his mother's disappearance. Adrien always tried to speak with his father and try but he was always busy or away. He finally snapped at his father. But where would he go for the night? He had to find someone he could trust. Marinette wasn't expecting Chat Noir to show up on her balcony with red eyes filled with tears. Her first thought after seeing him was the akumatized version of him, Chat Blanc. She immediately brings him inside, making it her job to help him. She was not going to let her partner become her worst nightmare. He needed some place to feel safe? She would become that. It became an everyday thing. Chat Noir would visit Marinette every day, they would talk about their days as Chat tried to keep his as dense as possible to not reveal his identity. They would play video games and eat food from the bakery. But what happens when something happens to Marinette that makes her break? Marinette has no where to go so Chat decides to be that place. He wondered if they'd come back to haunt him, to follow his every waking move, to never let him forget the way he'd demolished them into dust. The sound pounded through his head, threatening to burst open his eardrums, determined to push him to a breaking point. Collapsing to his knees, Chat Noir had to pause to draw in a deep breath. It was only then that he realized the person screaming was him. -- Essentially a rewrite of the Miraculous movie, for people who liked the film well enough but it didn't quite meet their expectations--- But in this version: Adrien is the main focus instead, the Love Square is reversed, all the characters retain their TV-show personalities (meaning Plagg is not an annoying fart joke), the plot is way more insane, and the themes are a helluva lot... darker. (Also, the songs are somehow still included?? I just rewrote them to fit the opposite character-- but they're easy enough to ignore if you really hate songfics.)Complete

He yelled her name but couldn't reach her anymore. She was leaving him! Someone was shaking him as he was being woken up. He had to get her back! He woke up to Felix and Plagg looking at him in sorrow. He couldn't speak as he just grabbed his hair. He was nothing without his safe place but that place was locked away in her forgotten memories. ------------------------ Adrien Agreste only had a month left to graduation but he had lost one of the best things school gave him.
