It's the summer of 1985 in Eguisheim, a small village in southern France. Amongst the lush, fruity landscapes, golden summers, overlooking crystal waters, lives sixteen year old Theodore, the son of a professor and a housekeeper, spends his days reading books, playing the piano, and roaming around the countryside surrounding the small village that he calls home. Diana is a seventeen year old, American girl who has come to vacation in her family's French country estate. While Diana plays records and shoots photos trying to pass her time in the unamusing village, she stumbles upon the shy Theodore.

Amid the sun drenched splender of the setting, Theodore and Diana discover the bursting beauty of awakening desire over the course of a summer which will embed its self in their minds forever as if it were a Midsummer Night's Dream.

Graduate from college - Check New cute chic haircut - Check One way ticket to Paris - Check Kate Perryman is ready for the best summer of her life! While she hasn't completely figured out what she's going to do now that she's a college graduate (perhaps majoring in English wasn't the best idea) she's not going to let that stop her from pursuing Henri - the cute foreign exchange student she met her last semester at the University of Kansas. What can go wrong right? Kate soon learns Henri has put Kate firmly in the past leaving her to traverse Paris on her own with little money and an even worse sense of direction. But things begin to look up when she stumbles upon her childhood friend Jeremy LeClair, and he invites her to spend the summer at his family's chateau. Of course, Kate can't say no! What she doesn't realize is that the chateau is rumored to be haunted by the two Chevalier sisters that mysteriously disappeared in the late 18th century amid scandal, murder, and a well-kept love triangle. While Kate tries to find out exactly what happened to them (and who the third set of bloody footprints belong to) she throws herself into life at Chateau de Langlois - enjoying the large swimming pool, vineyard, and gardens. What she can't understand is why Jeremy doesn't seem to return her affections! From Paris to Nice to Monaco and Cannes Kate truly has the most amazing summer but what would be perfection is the love of the man she knows has always been more than just a "friend."

The Summer of Absolutely Nothing

17 parts Complete

It's summer - the end of my first year of college. And I am home again, more than a little worse for the wear. College hadn't gone how I had expected it to go. After two years of the grind to get in, I thought I would find the kind of magic I saw in American high school movies, which I had been denied of in school - late nights, parties, wild adventures with whacky best friends, romance.... everything one is told is supposed to happen in one's teenage years. After two years of watching my classmates grow up and enter this world, I thought it was my turn, now. I thought my college life would be like a coming-of-age movie. But in reality? It wouldn't make a good story, of any kind - not even a sad one. The only thing I found were shiftless friends, stifling academic pressure and heartbreak. So now I was home - a little bruised, a little broken. A few dreams in shards around my feet. Turns out, I needn't have worried. The summer that followed changed my life. The summer of - after a hectic, stressful year - nothing at all. Nothing, and yet - everything.
