A pact.
A demon.
A girl.
The Gates to the Demon realm, Xathurion, lay open, the world on the precipice of change. It teeters on a knife's edge, one misstep from plummeting into the abyss. The Lauthien family lies dead, slaughtered in an act of treachery, the only ones with the blessing to close them. Except one.
Feryth Lauhtien, eldest daughter of the Lauthien family died on the night of her eighteenth birthday, only to rise from the ashes. Only she has the power to close the Gates of Xathurion. But whispers in her mind seek to drive her mad, a power borrowed corrupting her thoughts. With Ercen, an exiled Fae prince, she must travel to the Fae lands to gain their help. But shadows lurk even here, the demons infiltrating even the highest pillars of Faerie hierarchy.
One woman.
One man.
One impossible task.
Feryth must close the Gates, before the world falls into ruin, before her borrowed time is up. A land rife with deceit, a home burnt to ash, and a voice in her head as her only company. Nothing is set in stone, and history is bound to repeat itself.
