Evelyn Callaghan lived a normal life. Very normal. In her opinion, at least. But all that gets thrown out the window when she meets Delaney Arlington, the outspoken Fire elemental who whisks her away to her true homeland: Chyrito. So that's why Eve never felt at home in ol' Half Moon Bay.
But now her world has been turned upside down, and turns out being the newly-discovered Time elemental is the least of her worries. Evil is rampant in a sparkly world like Chyrito, and Eve might not be the best person to root them out, but she surely is willing to try her best to belong. After all, that's what she's been doing her entire life.
Is Eve really ready for this? A spoiled, quiet, girl whose biggest wish was to get a cockatiel plushy from the claw machine is about to take this new world by storm-but not everyone is ready for it.
