Deku and Bakugo never knew each other.
Deku's father left/died when Izuku was 4 and his mother Inko died in a villain attack which involved him 6 years ago... He blamed himself for his mother's death and he hasn't been the same since...
He was put in an orphanage but no one wanted him because of his quirk... until one day where he finds a family that wants him for who he is and not what he is capable of.
It takes some time for Izuku to let his class in, and accept that this is his new life and family.

But just before things could get worse, Katsuki accidentally ends up traveling back in time. As he uncovers the true culprit of Izuku's death, he's also is forced to work together with the one person he agreed to never discuss the past with. In middle school Katsuki and Izuku did something. 😉. Then 3months later Deku stopped going to school for a year. They both acted as if nothing happened and Bakugou carried on bullying deku and they both got into UA. Deku has his own quirks but because of how powerful they were he kept it secret, as to not hurt people but he got bullied for being 'quirkless'. 😭 Izuku became a singer after his 'disappearance' to get money to support his family. ☺️.
