There used to be a narenj tree in my grandmother's garden, and I would often wonder why she had chosen to grow a bitter orange tree instead of the sweet, normal ones. Years later, when I grew old enough; I started to understand my grandmother's choice. I started to realise that time changes our tastes as much as it changes us. Time turns words like "sweet" in our dictionaries to words like "sickeningly sweet", and time also makes us find solace in that which is sour and bitter.

This one goes to all those souls that have sour and bitter stories, but that are still elegantly fragrant in themselves... just like a narenj tree.
