I will do two different versions of this story, since there was more than one way for this to go in the prompt book where I found this (which was ao3)
Prompt: Ranboo is broken, in pain constantly, and doesn't trust anyone anymore, and is embracing his Ender features. . . And has decided to run away. . . Further than anyone on the Dream SMP has done. . . and learns more about himself while in. . . Self-Exile(?)

One of the worst things that happened to Tommy and believe me, loads of bad things has happened to him. But being stuck in a single place, far away from his friends and family and with a blob that has taken two of his canon lives and who may have plans of his own, has to be up there in Tommy's list of Worse Things that Has Happened to Me. So he ran away. Whether he snuck into Technoblade's house was intentional or not is honestly up in the air to debate. But when it came to it, Tommy had two choices. To stay with his supposed elder brother who is not dead or go back to the people who turned their backs on him. He picked the first choice. Now Tommy has to live with the fact that he and Tubbo may not be able to repair their friendship and that the country that he helped build is basically f*cked! But that is not the end of the story. Tommy had gotten away from Dream in the canon universe, but in another Tommy was caught and turned into a living punching bag and, kinda, an experiment for Dream later on. He didn't expect Tommy to lose his emotions, the nervous system that told him when he was in pain, and even the will to carry on without Dream by his side. He didn't think that killing and reviving Tommy would affect him so much, but then again Dream wasn't complaining in the slightest. He finally had full control over Tommy, something he'd been craving since he first met the teen. He was not about to let his grip on the teen loosen. A DreamSMP Fanfiction with Ranboo our beloved as the main character. Ranboo started to hear the voice of a man said to be named Dream after his sixteenth birthday. He lives somewhere in England, his family in America. He moved to England to get some more action into his life, do something new. But ever since he started hearing the voice, nothing's been the same since, and not in a good way. On the same day of his birthday, he got a package in the mail. The address was unknown, and inside the package was a book with a title that read "DO NOT READ". There was a lock on it, so he couldn't read the book. He has it kept on his bookshelf now, in case he might ever need it. The voice started to tell Ranboo things he shouldn't be hearing, things about how this world isn't real, and they're all variants of another. He's tried to pay no mind to the voice, but day by day it gets louder, and more vivid with it's wording. It's even started to show him visions of events uncomfortably similar to things that have happened in this world..Complete
