Maxine is an illegitimate  child of the King Benjamin who in return of staying in the castle, must serve the king as one of the high class soldiers. 

Maxine and Hawks have been friends for a long time since they met at the training camp when they were kids. 

Things take a dark turn when they find out about who was behind the assassination.
