Halo: Unua's Journey

Unua is a Sangheili like any other, yet is frustrated by the lack of options. Unua is a female, and that makes life hard when you live in a sexist society. Like humans, the Sangheili had long since passed that stage, yet when the Profits came along, the Sangheili ways were overridden, and the males became superior once again. The only options for glory she is presented are mundane jobs such as defending the household or piloting a Phantom. Unua wants to aspire to something more, and she will never give up.
Meanwhile, a young marine by the name of Kyle finds himself captured and enslaved. He will have to try to adapt to the new lifestyle or die. Fate brings the two together, but what destiny awaits them?
