Izuku Midoriya lives in a world where 80% of the population has some sort of superhuman ability ranging from extremely powerful to downright useless. The rest of the 20% are totally normal people with no superpowers or quirks as they are more commonly known. Izuku is one of these 20% with no power what so ever. Constantly beaten down to the point of suicide, Izuku just loses his drive to be the one thing he aspires to be: a hero.

Quirkless doesn't mean useless but because of how quirkless kids are being treated they often end up dead.. Izuku Midoriya is a kid that was born quirkless. Once his parents found out about this, they immediatelly abandoned him and threw him out on the streets. Izuku Midoriya formerly izuku yagi had a good life up until he was diagnosed quirkless. He was neglected and beaten by his own (all might, magnetic and Izumi) family and (1A) friends. Over the years izuku learn how to defend himself in private, read comics from before quirks were around and learning about heroes quirks. One day, while izuku is running away from his tormentors, he runs into the forest to lose them. After he does he realizes he's lost and then he sees a meteor coming towards him. After it crashes izuku feels like it's calling to him, he goes near it and almost in an instant he feels a sudden surge of power and strength he never felt before. Now with these new abilities he will become the next number one hero and symbol of hope.
