This book is about the life of a young girl who has been abused by her stepfather for no reason at all. She never knew that she had a family who was willing to take care of her as she was taken by her mother when she was younger to make her father mad. As she moves through her life, she almost faces death before her father finds her again. She then starts on a new page with her new family and so her life becomes better. She is now okay physically, but what about mentally. Can her family help her through this dark chapter and turn her into the strong and independent woman she is born to be?
