A young girl, Miranda, moves from Seattle to Sydney to live with people she's never met. She is incapable of making friends after she discovers something hiding in her new house. A little after, she meets eight people which only she can see. They are nor imaginary or invisible. She unlocked a door to a very dangerous world of which her new friends have came from.
