A part of me is terrified of the boy...no...the man standing before me. Only a man can preform such a horrifying act; a boy has too much innocence. The light I had held him under for so long now has gone out, and while my heart bleeds for my sister and Bo, I cannot find it in me to hate Jonathan. "You need to go," I say instead. While I cannot comfort him, I can offer him escape. 

"I love you," I whisper to his reteating back. His footfalls halt for just a moment, and he looks over his shoulder as if he had heard me...and then he faces forward and runs.
