Roman is a classic stereotypical high school student. He does alright in class, but isn't an overachiever. He isn't popular by any means, but he's not bullied or one of the weird kids. He's just tying to make it through the rest of junior year. He has his two closest friends, Patton and Logan, but ever since they got together over the summer, Roman's been a bit of a third wheel.
After a rough patch falls between the group, Roman decides to hang out with Remus and his friends instead. The classic "troubled kids" from the other side of the tracks. They're nowhere near a good influence for him, but they make him feel seen again; loved again.

Virgil has the next couple years of his life planned out: he'll graduate from high school and study Graphic Design in college. His roommate will be his best friend, Roman. At the end of college, he'll move into an apartment, get a boyfriend and start his life. But as he gets caught up in how he really wouldn't mind that boyfriend to be Roman, his high school throws a three-day school trip at him and his friends. He gets placed in a cabin with not only Roman, but his two other friends Patton and Logan. The four of them are also in an activity group together, which means that the four of them will be around each other for most, if not all, of the 72-hour period. So, here Virgil is. Stuck far away from home in a cabin with his crush. For three. Whole. Days. Virgil is the source of Thomas's anxiety so that means he was treated differently. Patton and Logan didn't mind his presence as long as he doesn't hurt Thomas or be too harsh. Roman is a different story he didn't like Virgil as much as the others did so he'd often start the fights. What happens if he starts to find out what's wrong with the rain cloud? Will he give him mercy and apologize? Or will he suffer the harsh consequences for his actions? Romance is in the air for them both what happens next???
