Hearts in Cages

Eridian is somehow taken away from the flames of the city of Pompeii as Mount Vesuvius explodes, killing her village and her family. She is not the same anymore. Her body has transformed into something she cannot grasp and a mad scientist, Daedalus of Athens, has taken her in to his home where they begin to bloom a beautiful friendship.
