"Oh look we're kissing under the stars." Reid slurred drunkenly while rain poured down on us.
"Reid I just want you to take a moment and look up, there are no stars...plus we're not even kissing!" I explained to him. What does he think he is doing?
He grabbed my waist and said, "How about a kiss in the rain?"
"No," I replied, pushing him and his arm away from my cold body.
"Under the clouds???" He asked, seeming confused that I was rejecting his advances.
"Absolutely not, plus I saw you drink at least 7 shots, idiot." I was starting to lose hope in my explanations.
After a pause he looked up at the sky, "The rain is stopping, can we watch the clouds?"

I'm Zander." That's all he could say before I kissed him. He immediately tensed up, but then he did something I didn't expect. He kissed me back and grabbed my waist, pulling me closer. I opened my mouth a little in shock, and his tongue went in my mouth. He tasted like rainwater and peppermint. Despite myself, I moaned a little when he deepened the kiss even further. After what felt like 2 hours, we broke apart. "I'm sorry," he said blushing a little "but it just kinda clicked." he explained, rubbing the back of his neck. "It's okay." I said, also starting to blush a little. For 2 minutes the awkward just settled between us, and I swear it was tangible. He broke the silence first, finally meeting my eyes and not staring at his high-tops. "So...", he started and chuckled nervously "Could I get your number?" I stared at him for a second wondering if it would even be a good idea, when he said "I know we don't know each other, but I felt fireworks just now, and even if we don't go on a date, I'd love to see you again."
