Being a Pilot on Star Killer was a good way to suddenly get a caffeine dependance, and a better way to get killed. however you had survived this long, excessive senses and all.
When you ignore direct orders, but also manage to save the life of another Pilot, you don't expect a meeting with Hux, or indeed the Commander.
