I like my name, despite the fact that half the people I meet can't pronounce it properly. It's Esen Ayaz, and I think that it suits me quite nicely. Esen actually means 'wind' in Turkish, exactly what one would describe me as if they knew me. I'm eighteen years old, living alone and I prefer the peaceful life, one where my name isn't know by all. In fact, other than my parents, I mostly just talk to my best friends Zara and Daphne. The two know all my secrets, like the fact that I'm wearing a special ring to hide myself from a certain someone. The ring is meant to hide the power of the red string of fate, and thank god for that. The wind is not meant to be bound to anyone or anything, it's supposed to be a free, nameless entity. One that you can hear whistling through the grass, yet never really be able to tell the sound of its voice nor the look of its face. That's why I love my name, because you can't catch the wind.

Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd) Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
