This story is about a young japanese highschool girl, sakura who is bullied because her imaginary friend is from a show and she never let him go, because she was so lonely..hinata, her imaginary friend was her only friend..she was bullied ever since she was small, first because she was "too childish" and always wished fictional characters were real, and she sang, or talked too much, after her parents got into car crash when she was 9, and from then on she made art and provided for herself so she could avoid being placed into an orphanage, and over the years she's grown quite as independent, she is still very lonely, until one day, she meets this boy, his friends call him sunny, he claims his name seems to be hinata too..hinata ozume...{hinata in japanese means sunflower} a little skeptical, she gets closer and closer to him every day, becoming more and more of friends, they fell in love and he reveals a surprising secret.
