His hazel gaze fairly darkened, reflecting the tragedy with vermillion flames earlier before they fled from his beloved shelter, his home to this nowhere-wilderness of silent whistles.

"Taehyung," she only returned his hardened gaze, still catching her breath.

"Swear it, Yun!" he emphasized through gritted teeth but what she saw was his tears. He ordered again, broken, desperate, vengeful: "Swear it, that you will become my blade, shield and light through every darkness, even when everyone turn their backs against us, through teared bonds, bones and flesh, you will listen to my every command. For as long as you live, fight for me until our souls die out."

The sword in her grip faded. She smiled thinly at his command and bowed before him, courteously, on one bloodied knee.

"I swear, young master. Your wish is my command."

And the contract was sealed.
