Buffy has awakened the potential slayers. Team Angel has awakened the wrath of the Senior Partners. The Scoobies have no idea that the cunning vampire, Spike, is alive. Upon rescuing Angel, Buffy coincides with her feelings for Spike, her prior relationship with Angel, her army of slayers, and her friends and little sister. So why not throw another big bad that's sure to turn into an end of the world situation on top of all that? But this one is different. While it may not be the epitome of all evil, the first evil, this big bad is taller, badder, and it has a connection with our peroxided champion.
