Grian is a minecrafter looking for a new job in a city that's far away from his homeplace. But after he tells his friend, Mumbo Jumbo, about this, he gets invited to the Hermits' Estate, and live with other 20+ people that he didn't really know.

He accepted the invite, and now, he tries to get along with the so called 'Hermits', thus becoming a part of the dysfunctional family. Will he survive the chaos, or will he become one with it all?

Sam was gone, for good, Mumbo had killed him and he hadn't respawned. He was dead. Grian trusted in the kindness of the world and he opened up, but that was his biggest mistake. Because what if Sam wasn't dead? What if they had been tricked by a simple hack? What if Scar and Mumbo went missing? What if they were taken? Grian would have to find out the consequences of those 'what if's the hard way. A sequel to "Sam's Back", I suggest reading that first if you haven't already since otherwise this won't make sense. A YHS/Hermitcraft fanfic. Angsty. There's some mild Grumbo shipping but it could just be seen as platonic. Also Scar/Cub shipping, but only really at the very end and you can ignore it if you want. Trigger warnings: death loops, permadeath, Sam being Sam, manipulation, self hatred, torture, general angsty stuff. There's a happy ending though!
