Paper Weight

You read books to escape your reality and replace it with the promise of another. You read books to lose yourself as you inhale the words of someone else. You read books because you don't have to face your world if you can be engulfed into the world of a fictional character.

Sam is the main character. They were born from creativity; conceived on a page and birthed from ink. Their life consists of words on paper. Confined in between two covers. Defined by a title.

You are desperate to leave your world behind so you hide in the pages of their book. Sam is desperate for a life outside of their story and they find that in you.
