Akira's ability is being able to manipulate the energy source that exists in life and death. They are able to kill any living creature or being  by simply touching them. They are also able to manipulate the vessel of that creature after death and in some cases transfer one life force to another. This type of quirk requires an extraordinary amount of focus, physical energy and power. As a result of being connected to both the living and the dead, Akira is hyper-sensitive to their surroundings and very intuitive. The slightest change in energy can set off their senses and it's very easy to overload them.
