Clay and George are somehow sucked into Minecraft. While trying to figure out how to escape, Clay is taken over by a strange force. George is left to fend for himself, his only hope being that defeating the ender dragon will take him back to real life. But what about his best friend (who might be more than just a friend)? *Notice*: I am using the personas/characters that George and Dream portray on YouTube, and I respect their lives and decisions. After all, they're some of my favorite creators. How could I not? When Clay is the witness of a murder at his tenth, his life seems to be over. Because of the daily death threats, blackmailing and fear he needs to live in, he decides to take drugs to calm down. Within days, he gets severely addicted to alcohol and drugs and starts stealing for his drug dealer to get more so he doesn't do anything to himself to stop the intense fear within him. George lives the absolute perfect life and doesn't know anything about problems. He thinks everyone is complaining until he finds his sibling who overdosed and then figures out Clay suffers too. He has no idea how to cope with it, but decides to do anything he can to be a better friend and brother. My first finished book. Inspired by the song Home For The Summer by Sara Kays. This book contains strong language and has a few smut chapters, you can easily skip those if you want as I made sure they don't contain important information about the story :) Clay and George used to be inseparable, but when Clay had to leave the town they had both grown up in together, their friendship slowly faded away. Now, years later, they still hadn't forgotten about each other but were both too scared to reach out to one another. That was, until Clay decided to come home for the summer, going back to the town the two of them had made so many memories in, in the hopes of finding George.
