This is set in a time which would never happen hopefully where the origin of creatures are certain and unbelievably every reason and its meaning, consequences and effects.
Everyone has roots in this story.
Seina knew something was off when her uncle tried to bite her. Five years later, he dies in a drunk driving accident. Now twenty one things have evolved. She is deemed mature and waves of past problems collude with present ones leaving her in disarray.
Her only hope of redemption is offered. She must join the Pessari - a vampire slayer competition. A competition whose salient goal is to hunt and kill vampires. Everything runs smoothly until the past nib her all of a sudden.
She finds out she is a vampire. Harbouring this secret gets out of hand when her thirst frequency increases.
Will she kill herself first or let the other vampire slayers do their thing amongst all the betrayal, secrets, confusion and chaos?
Hint: All things are not what they seem to be!

They're divided into Factiones (no, that isn't a typo, go away Grammarly) by a starburst mountain range that is actually new, relative to the rest of the geology. Then someone dies. Of course.
