Cody was used to looking after his younger brothers. It wasn't easy but he could manage. He's been looking after Bly since he was five. Then came Rex, then Wolffe. And then Fox. By the time, Cody moved out and didn't hesitate to take his little brothers in. They were better off with him than Jango. Then he found Jesse on his doorstep and not even a year later, Kix was also left at his door. Cody kept them, of course, but he called Jango and gave him a piece of his mind about leaving infants on the pavement in front of his doors. That was the last time Cody has heard of him. The next addition to his chaotic little family came in the forms of Fives and Echo. And it wasn't Jango this time who dropped them at Cody's, it was some poor girl that had the misfortune of meeting Jango in a bar. Apparently, Jango refused to have anything with her or their children but he was kind enough to give her Cody's number. Asshole. He learned of Wooley's existence through a social worker because apparently Jango left the baby alone at home for an entire day and someone heard him crying. Cody was officially done with him. Or so he thought. Because that was Jango knocking on the door and he had another baby in his arms. Just what Cody needed. #1 rankings that I might have or might not have lost: #1 in rexsoka #1 in codywan #1 in bly #1 in jango #1 in kid-fic You know the drill, I don't own Star Wars, the only thing I own is the plot and my OCs etc.
12 Days of Christmas by KaitlynSee413

"Here's the deal," he began. "I know you don't feel the same way about me, and I know that it's very possible that you'll never return the feelings I have for you. That's why I've come up with a solution to satisfy us both." "I'm listening," I responded, admittedly a bit intrigued. "Today is December 14 which would be exactly twelve days before Christmas. Are you familiar with the classic Christmas song, '12 Days of Christmas'?" he questioned. I chuckled, shaking my head at his absurd question. "Uh, who isn't?" "Well then, here's my proposition for you: For exactly twelve days, you let me be your boyfriend," said Joey. "Joe, I-" "And before you say no," he said, cutting me off, "I think both of us could benefit from this deal. Know why? This would be my one chance to make you fall for me. If you don't by the time Christmas rolls around, then I'll leave you alone or we'll go back to the way things used to be - me and you, best friends and only best friends." He took a shaky breath before adding, "Besides, we're not really running the risk of 'ruining the friendship' since, and forgive me for the harsh words, but the friendship is already ruined so..." "Well... What exactly would we be doing for twelve days?" I inquired. "Well, since you asked, we'd be going on dates, doing stuff that would make you fall for me, and most importantly, we'd act like a couple. To summarize, you'll be getting the full boyfriend experience," he chuckled with a proud grin plastered across his face. "Interesting proposition, Joey," I complimented, giving him a little dorky applause. "I'm in. Your chance to prove yourself to me starts... now." Without saying another word, he wrapped his arms around my waist, drawing me close, and he brought his lips to mine. - Cover by: @guiaong - ~ 12 Days of Christmas ~ 05/31/17 - 10/08/17 Edited: 08/08/20 - 08/24/20

Spilt Wine

63 parts Complete

The disappearance of a friend and millions of Francs worth of wine interrupts David's buying trip in France when he pauses to assist and comfort his friend's wife, Catherine. Their lives are threatened, the intensifying circumstances draw them closer together, and they uncover their buried traumas, insecurities and longings. This is a tale of mounting tensions, realisations and passions woven through a gripping crime thriller set on the Burgundy canals and in the French wine business of the 1980s. Although this is a work of fiction, most of the locations, adventures and characters are real or based on reality. The reminiscences, stories and timeline follow events from my own experiences, though sometimes they're slightly juggled to fit the crafting of this novel. Fortunately, the crimes and the criminals are fictional, and any resemblance to actual people or events is purely coincidental.
