SYNOPSIS:

With both of his parents dying before he could even reach adolescence, Allen Riley Cedric grew up not having much of a support system other than his guardian and his father's righthand man. Being kept in solitary by his father for most of his childhood, making him believe that he could trust no one, he grew far and far away from people. Scared of betrayal, he hid his emotions, thinking they might be used against him, creating an apathetic façade to protect himself. Bounded by his terrorizing childhood and the nightmares constantly bugging him during the night, Allen tries for years to build the version of himself that he thinks would fit the people's ideals. A version that he thinks is far better than his crazy father. As he struggles to contain and fight his inner monsters, he will meet people along the way who will make or break his trust even further.
