Monsters don't only appear at night. Sometimes they follow you around like a shadow even when the sun is shining bright. Evangeline didn't know when she left her house she would never be able to return again. The monster took a liking to her and used Evangeline as a personal puppet or even a pet. She will never be able to escape the strong grasp of the monster. This story has a Spotify playlist which you can find the link to that and my other social media on my profile. Warning: This book contains violence and grief. If those topics make you uncomfortable that I suggest not reading further. It wasn't supposed to be a rescue. It wasn't even supposed to be real. A drunken dare. A reckless chase. A twisted game. Harry and his friends entered the house with one thought-to take what wasn't theirs. But the moment they crossed the threshold, the game turned against them. The doors locked. The walls shifted. Their desires became chains, their laughter swallowed by silence. At first, they thought it was a man-a monster lurking in the dark, toying with them. But the deeper they went, the more the truth clawed at their sanity. The house was alive. And it wanted them to suffer. Time unraveled. Lust turned to regret. Hunger turned to madness. Their mistakes tightened like a noose, and soon, Harry found himself losing more than just his way. He was losing them. And the house was still watching. Because no one leaves until it is done with them. The House That Whispers
