It has been 100 years since the Great Calamity struck the land of Hyrule. After a century of slumber, a young Hylian awakens to find the world in shambles. With nothing but his courage and his name, he takes on the responsibility to put it back on track, and maybe, just maybe, to find his place in the world.

A retelling of BOTW's story.

(A/N: If anyone is confused about the writing style in the first few chapters, I apologize. I wrote this fanfic when I was still very new to writing. I was still using this odd script style before transitioning to a more normal novel writing style. I hope this clears up any confusion.)
