The Hearts that Bleed Black
When a man who lives in poverty tries to rob a young king of his wealth, he is caught. Unexpectedly, the lonely king takes him in as his bodyguard and companion. The king fights to win the friendship of the man, but may end up winning more than that... if his newfound friend doesn't murder him first of course. And while they're distracted, a new and incredibly dangerous king is rising to power. If not stopped, he may take over all six kingdoms and leave them all for dead, even if it means destroying the careful balance in which their world exists. While they deal with their own problems, far bigger ones are stirring, and it may just be too late to stop it... Two star-crossed lovers, six kingdoms, and man threatening to tear everything apart.
