Hitoshi Shinsou is a 1st year UA student with a light obsession for the ocean and creatures that live in it. But he never thought that the miths of mermaids are true, until that fateful day.

Shinsou is adopted by Aizawa and Mic along with Eri. They live in a house by the ocean as Shinsou likes to adventure far from the shore, exploring every part he can.
Izuku Midorya is a mermaid, living alone under the fist of the king. He had a fastination with the human world, as he would spend hours watching humans play on the beach. With a wish to be a human, to live on the land with others. If only there was a way.....

Humans no longer ruled the top of the food chain. Hundreds of thousands of kids, adults, teens, and elderly have been devoured and killed in cold blood in just days. In their sleep. In schools, hospitals, playgrounds-- by giant beasts. That's when they knew that the only way to live, was to survive. At least, that's the goal to Katsukis new life, but what better way to do it then face everything and go at it alone? All Midoriya wanted was to visit his mother for the weekend. Instead he's kidnapped by one of the most prominent villain groups in Japan, and they go by the name League of Villains. Back at UA, Shinso is finally going on his first hero mission as an apprentice to the one and only pro hero Eraserhead. There's just one problem. His first mission is to rescue a student that's in the hero class he's been trying so hard to get into. The boy he once looked up to, who shone so bright he seemed nearly untouchable, is now reduced to a vulnerable, traumatized teen that he's been tasked with taking care of. WARNING: In this fic some of the characters have a lot of trauma, and there will be some graphic chapters towards the beginning, though I tried to keep it to a minimum. There will be mentions of SA, psychological and physical abuse. I put warnings at beginnings of chapters, as well as the specific part of the chapter that may be triggering, when applicable.
