Cocooned under the safety of blankets and basked in the sweet scent of sweat, conscience submits itself to the wonderful yet agonizingly painful world of 'what-if's' and 'however's'.
A lonesome protagonist winds up awake at ungodly hours, suffocated by her subconscious. When she sets afoot outside, she finds the once familiar surroundings turn foreign.
Are they the true shades of the world she thought she knew? Or just a trick of the eyes?

A collection of poetry, all written by me. Some of its kind of sad, and kind of dark. But it's all based, however loosely, on real life. A note before you read: I'm glad you're taking the time to read my poetry :). But before you do, I'd like to mention something. It tries to make sense of the past and explores trauma head on in an unfiltered way that leaves no room for denial. It's a documentation of my entire life, moments both sun kissed and dark. A book written with the new understanding that expressing how you feel is absolutely vital. Most of my poems come from personal experience and some topics may be sensitive to some readers. Some themes included consist of toxic household environments, the loss of loved ones, abusive relationships, suicidal thoughts and actions, and struggling with mental illness.Concluída

Tired of trying to be everything. Trying to be perfect. Wrong paths and wrong people and missed opportunities. Am I letting my mental illness take over my life? A look into the mind of a BPD, Anxiety ridden woman. With no identity but her Panic. With my ways it's hard to keep down anything healthy, relationships that don't last but stay with me like my own personal demons. And evil around the corner you'd never see coming. The pain changes you. Trauma changes you. It strips you away from yourself. BPD strips away your identity sometimes I guess this is my way of finding myself again, through writing and reflecting and realizing it is okay to be hurting.
