Whenever she's told she's easy to read, almost like an open book, she bites down laughter, remembering everything she's kept locked away. She has her own secrets, ones that she can't mention to a single soul. Maybe it was because she was scared to be dissected like a frog, or because she was scared that she could use it to hurt others. She really never knew herself why she kept them away. And after meeting this boy...he made her feel special, even without knowing about her differences. He didn't care that she wasn't normal, that she was weirdly moody and eccentric and bubbly. He didn't care that she could be childish and mature all at once. Maybe she loved that a little too much.

Peter Parker. A normal, nerdy 15-year-old kid with quite a few secrets on his own. His life was already hectic with high school, but now...this? And it doesn't quite help when a girl he'd seen around school but never talked to, begins to converse with him, making him tingle in ways that lit him up like the 4th of July.
