Danae has never wanted to marry, but with the rebellion brewing she strikes a deal to keep the people she loves safe. This deal throws her into the competition she had always wanted out of, the courting competition of the Crown Prince. Danae is thrown into the world of court when she takes her birthright place in the courting for the eldest prince's hand. Archer. She's always hated him since they were young, but when she meets him again she senses something different about him. Danae proceeds through the competition and seems to find a fight within herself as she tries to figure out who exactly she is, while still trying to understand everyone around her. As Danae tries to navigate the new challenges and the uprising in the country, she learns there's more to the kingdom than courting of the prince. The war is raging, and it will eat this world alive if Danae doesn't stop it.

To be updated twice a month. We all know the story of Cinderella. A young woman rescued from servitude after capturing the heart of a young prince with the help of her Fairy God Mother who had transformed her into a potential princess. What if the story was a little different? What if Cinderella was a young man who was struggling to keep himself and his family alive? What if the prince was a lonely and naive young man waiting to celebrate his birthday? What if the Fairy God Mother was a cold-hearted man with money and a plot to remove the prince from the royal line? What if this "Fairy God Mother" gives our "Cinderella" a week to take the life of the prince in exchange for a comfortable life for his family? This is a retelling of the traditional Cinderella story where our "Cinderella" is given until midnight of the prince's birthday to snuff out his light forever.
