Amara wants nothing more in her life than her best friend back, who has been missing for over a year. But when she realizes nobody remembers the girl who is missing, Amara realizes the life she remembers doesn't actually exist. Investigating her missing friend, Amara goes missing. Her sister Malorie, trying to follow in her footsteps to find her, only to discover something so bizarre that she's not sure if it's the truth. Only Amara tells her it is.
