The Warwings have taken over the continent of Eleftheria, slaughtered the Bugwing tribe, and drove the Woodwings underground. The only surviving heir of legendary Queen Acacia, Koa, knows that it is her sworn duty to protect the WoodWings in their underground city, and her subjects are pushing her to choose a mate so that the vulnerable tribe can have heirs. Koa is reluctant to marry, and time is running out.
But a chance encounter with the outside world leads her to meet Lesion, a young WarWing who shows her that WarWings are not the gruesome, violent dragons she once believed they were.
Even though she knows it's forbidden, can Koa convince her tribe that the WarWings aren't the monsters that they are made out to be?

WoF Fanfiction - discontinued and really bad Hybrid was, well, a hybrid. She used to have a good life, kept hidden from the public. She didn't know what type of dragon she was and had no friends, but that didn't matter. She had her icewing dad, who took her out hunting and loved her enough to make up for everything else twofold. She thought that her difference wasn't necessarily bad. That all changed one day. Hybrid and her father were out, close to where they usually went hunting, and were celebrating her third birthday by going whaling. They were spotted. Another icewing took down her father, killing him for harboring a hybrid. Hybrid was dumped in the desert outside of the wall, where she was found by a sandwing. The sandwing drug her out to die in the dunes. She survived. Barely. After being stabbed by the sandwing's tail barb, she thought she was done for. The last thing that she remembered was her front talons feeling way too cold, especially in contrast to her sunburnt body. Then, black. When she woke up, she was even more different. A/N: I apologize, because, looking back, I kind of lost any inspiration for the first idea, can't mesh it with the idea I tried to throw in, and it would not make sense to ignore either of them.......
